Big India Farms (BIF) is our food supply chain company -- which is aims to strengthen the supply chain and food procurement logistics by integrating right till the food producers at the Farm level. India Farms will be a strategic supplier to 7to9 Retail and also others retail stores. In addition the company will be building export capabilities to Europe and North America.
We are excited about the possibilities of this venture because we are covering the entire food supply chain from producer to consumer -- with the objective to reduce middlemen and wastage in the supply chain, and share the benefit with both farmers and end-consumers from our retail stores.
The response at the ground level has been promising. We can share the following details:
- To focus on non-perishable agri-products and processing
- Will strengthen supply chain for 7to9 Stores
- Will also serve other retail chains/stores
- Will benefit farmers by giving them best practices and better prices

Three revenue sources for India Farms, in descending order of priority are:
- food supplies to 7to9 Retail Supermarkets
- food supplies to Non-competing Retail stores across India
- food exports (including, high-margin organic food)
The operations are based in MP, where we have registered in local mandis for procurements, and we have access to 1000+ acres of farm land for direct procurement in the future.
